Sue Willis, Executive Director
Susan Willis has been the Executive Director of Point Pleasant Child Care Centre since 1978. She was born in England and spent her formative years in London, Ontario. As the founding Director of PPCCC, Susan has been instrumental in growing the organization and its employees. She believes that early education and care is the foundation for later success in life and has dedicated her career to ensuring that the children of Point Pleasant Child Care Centre benefit from an intentional, enriched and caring environment delivered by highly qualified, dedicated and enthusiastic teaching staff. In addition to her position at PPCCC Susan is part time faculty at the Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education; President of Willis & Associates: Early Learning and Care Consultants and the Course Coordinator for the Early Childhood Education Administrator Certificate Course at Mount Saint Vincent University. Throughout her career she has been involved in countless organizations and committees and always remains a passionate advocate for quality in programs for young children.
Leanne Fletcher, Assistant Director
Leanne Fletcher holds a Degree in Child and Youth Studies from Mount Saint Vincent University. She has been working at Point Pleasant Child Care Centre since 1999. Leanne is the Assistant Director representing all three PPCCC facilities a role that allows her to work cooperatively with her team members to fulfill her dedication to provide quality care for our children and their families. With a daughter of her own, Leanne is also an active advocate for inclusive child care in the community.
